About the event

For over 20 years, ASD has successfully organised the Spring Convention, bringing together thought leaders, decision-makers, and industry pioneers. With the Convention, ASD aims to build upon this success by offering a more diverse range of academic and networking opportunities,while maintaining a concise and efficient structure. This evolution allows us to better address the needs of our members and stakeholders in an engaging and productive format.

The target dates for the event are in the second half of May 2026, with activities scheduled on weekdays to optimise participation. The congress is expected to welcome around 300 participants, including 100 ASD members engaged in the association’s management or academic programmes, 125-150 ASD delegates from direct members or National Association members, and 50-75 local industry representatives. Attendees will also include representatives from European institutions, local government officials, and key figures from ASD industries. As such, the host must provide a compelling combination of accessibility, affordability, and an environment conducive to networking and knowledge-sharing.
