Submitting your proposal

Proposals should include a comprehensive overview of the host’s capabilities and commitments. Key elements should cover:

• Local Organising Committee details – names and roles of key individuals.
• Overarching theme proposal – a central theme that aligns with ASD’s mission and could guide the academic and networking aspects of the congress.
• Proposed high-level speakers and key stakeholders – suggestions for keynote speakers or influential figures to enhance the congress’s impact and visibility.
• Fundraising strategy – potential sponsorship and funding opportunities.
• Venue proposals – suitable locations for academic and social functions, ensuring accessibility and cost efficiency.
• Support from local Convention Bureau – potential assistance in site visits, supplier contacts, and funding.
• Initial security considerations – insights on venue security, local risk factors, and collaboration with authorities.
